A project to install contrasting surface treatments and paving within the gore points on U.S. 101 from south of the interchange with State Route 135 in Los Alamos to north of the Solomon Summit Overcrossing will begin Sunday, Nov. 14.
The project will include a closure of the No. 2 (right) lane Sunday night, Nov. 14 through Monday morning, Nov. 15 during the overnight hours, 9:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m., and continue Monday night through Friday morning 8:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m.
The project will also include overnight/daytime ramp closures at the 101/State Route 135 Interchange in Los Alamos, Foxen Lane on/off ramps, Bell Street off-ramps, Solomon Summit Interchange, and near Tefft Street in Nipomo. Further details will be announced when certain.
Contractor for the $4 million project is A.M. Concrete Inc. of Westlake Village, California. This project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2023.
