To showcase our support of the event, Another Day in Paradise, Noozhawk spoke with Ross Kamerling, from Ice in Paradise to learn more about their event.
Ice in Paradise
Question: What is the name and date of your event?
Answer: Another Day in Paradise, Saturday October 11, 2025, 11AM to 5PM
Q: What is the mission, goal, and/or theme of this occasion?
A: To celebrate Ice in Paradise’s 10th Anniversary and showcase our program offerings with the community that made it possible.
Q: Have you held this event before?
A: Yes. Another Day in Paradise is an annual event, but this one coincides with the 10th Anniversary of when the ice rink first opened.
Q: Tell us some more details about your celebration?
A: The event will feature a full day of fun for the whole family at Ice in Paradise showcasing all the various program offerings we provide to the community! We will also have booths featuring local vendors and community organizations, as well as live music. In addition, special $10 meal deals, to commemorate our 10th Anniversary, will be available from our very own Rinkside Café.
Ice Schedule:
Skating Lesson – 11:15am-11:45am
Skating Show – 11:45am-12:00pm
Learn to Play Hockey – 12:00pm-1:00pm
Public Skating Party – 12:00pm-3:00pm
Open Broomball – 1:00pm-2:00pm
Try Curling – 3:00pm-5:00pm

Q: Is this a fundraising affair? If so, how will the funds raised help your organization?
A: This is not a fundraising event but everyone is welcome to donate to support our programs at any time. Please visit our website to help keep ice sports affordable and accessible to the community:
Q: Who is sponsoring your event, and why is their support important?
A: UltraAnalog® Corporation, Cal-Real Pools and Noozhawk are sponsoring this event. Without their support we could not conduct a 10-year celebration like this and share our celebration with the community.
Q: Do you work with an Event Planner? If not, who are the key people who make it all happen?
A: We do not work with an Event Planner. A dedicated team of Ice in Paradise staff, key Board Members, and volunteers came together to make this possible.
Q: Does your organization have any other upcoming events this year?
A: One of our bigger upcoming events this year is our annual Holiday Show performance on Saturday, December 13, 2025. We add smaller events constantly throughout the year which you can view on our website.
Q: What are you planning as a post-event follow up?
A: We’ll be sharing the stories of those who have been with us these past 10 years and experiences from those who have just met us as we continue to celebrate Ice in Paradise’s 10 Year Anniversary. We’ll share our plans for the next 10 years as we hope to continue being an important community resource.
