Ice in Paradise and the American Riviera Figure Skating Club proudly recognize the achievements of four local figure skaters who competed in the 14th Annual So-Cal Interclub Invitational Series Final, held September 27–28, 2025, at LA Kings Iceland at Paramount.

This final event marked the culmination of the season-long Southern California Interclub Invitational Series, which brought together skaters from across the region for a series of competitions designed to encourage growth, consistency, and sportsmanship.

Skaters from beginner through advanced levels competed for regional standings, with the final results reflecting a year of hard work and progress.

Four skaters who train at Ice in Paradise and represent the American Riviera Figure Skating Club earned placements in their respective divisions:

  • Caleb Flannigan – 1st in the region, Pre-Preliminary Boys
  • Amelia McCarthy – 8th in the region, Preliminary Girls
  • Winter Do – 2nd in the region, Excel Preliminary Plus
  • Sadie Heinze – 1st in the region, Excel Juvenile Girls

The So-Cal Interclub Invitational Series encourages skaters at all levels to compete regularly and track their progress throughout the season.

Earning a placement in the final standings requires commitment across multiple events, and all skaters who participated are recognized for their dedication to the sport.

The skaters’ successes reflect the strength of the skating community in Goleta and the supportive environment fostered by both Ice in Paradise and the American Riviera Figure Skating Club.
