Santa Barbara County rescuers helped an injured mountain biker off Tunnel Trail Tuesday night.
Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue, County Fire and American Medical Response were dispatched to the trail at 6:48 p.m. to rescue the 30-year-old man who had fallen and suffered an upper leg injury, SAR member Jason Copus said.
SAR members and county firefighters used a rescue litter to carry the biker to a SAR vehicle and then an ambulance, he said.
“Thankfully, the injured biker was with a group of friends who quickly called 9-1-1 and got him the care he needed as soon as possible,” Copus said.
