Two people reportedly were injured Tuesday night when two Santa Barbara Police patrol vehicles collided in downtown Santa Barbara.

The crash occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. at Anacapa and Cota streets.

City firefighters and two AMR ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

One person reportedly suffered moderate injuries while the other had minor injuries.

Anthony Castrejon told Noozhawk he was washing his car across the street when he saw the crash.

He said the collision occurred when one patrol vehicle was going straight on Cota while the other was turning right.
