Isla Vista Recreation & Park District (IVRPD) is accepting bids for its latest capital renovation project at Pardall Gardens in Isla Vista.
IVRPD has prepared the Bid Package for all interested contractors, along with a brief set of submittal instructions and project background.
The grant-funded project will deliver new ADA accessible paths of travel, a shade structure, drought tolerant planting, park lighting, and enhanced social gathering area in downtown Isla Vista near businesses and the Pardall tunnel that connects Isla Vista to UCSB campus.

Bid documents may be viewed and/or purchased from Tri-County Blueprint, 720 E. Haley St., Santa Barbara; phone 805-966-1701, and may be viewed online at Pardall Gardens Renovation :: Tricoblue Online Planroom.
The bid opening date is 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7. Sealed bids will be received at all times during normal business hours prior to the bid opening, at the District Office, 961 Embarcadero Del Mar, Isla Vista 93117.
All bids must be in writing and must contain an original signature by an authorized officer of the firm. Electronic bids (i.e., telephonic, FAX …) are not acceptable.
All bids shall clearly contain on the outside of the sealed envelope in which they are submitted: BID PACKAGE 24-01: PARDALL GARDENS RENOVATION PROJECT.

The Pardall Gardens Renovation Project was approved by the IVRPD Board of Directors in December 2021.
