Applications are available for this year’s Lompoc Valley Children’s Christmas Season Parade themed Dreaming of a White Christmas. The parade will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.

Individuals, groups or businesses interested in participating must complete an application and submit it to Anderson Recreation Center, 125 W. Walnut Ave., by Monday, Nov. 18.

The parade will assemble at 4:30 p.m. with check-in at the Union Bank parking lot, corner of Pine Avenue and “H” Street.

The parade will head south on “H” Street, turning west on Ocean Avenue, then south to “I” Street, and should last about an hour.

After the parade, participants and spectators are invited to gather at Centennial Park, corner of Cypress and H streets, for the announcement of parade winners, as well as the lighting of the community Christmas tree and a chance to visit with Santa.
