Dos Pueblos boys water polo came away with a comeback 11-10 victory over La Serna on Saturday.
The Chargers struggled out of the gate, falling behind 4-0 by the end of the first quarter.
However, they bounced back in a major way in the second quarter, rattling off six unanswered goals and allowing one just before the end of the quarter to take a 6-5 lead into the third.
Jaden Moore had two of the team’s six goals in that quarter.
La Serna stormed back in the third quarter, outscoring Dos Pueblos 4-2 to grab the lead back at 9-8.
Moore then stepped up in the biggest moment, scoring three goals in the final quarter while the defense did enough to clinch an 11-10 victory.
