The Warriors were led by medalist Jamaica Cook, who secured the Citrus Coast League MVP following a season where she had the lowest average score of any golfer in the league.

Cook also secured a spot in CIF-SS Individuals on Monday at Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks.

“I’m very proud of Jamaica’s focus and performance over the season,” Carpinteria coach Craig Cook said. “She went into every match with great poise and confidence which served her well this season.

“I look forward to what her senior year will bring next year.”

As a team, Carpinteria accumulated a score of 240 and finished behind only Nordhoff at 235.

Jamaica Cook, who led all golfers with her score of 41, was joined by teammates Athziry Rojas (43), Sophia Garay (47), Kiana Kiah (50), Anna Petersen (59) and Bella Casbarro (64).
