It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Jane Louise Olson on Feb. 11, 2025.

Jane was born Jan. 31, 1951 in Oceanside, California, to Marshall L. Olson and Helen Olson. Jane lived most of her life in Santa Barbara.

Jane married her beloved husband John Rich in November of 1986. She spent most of her career in the banking and financial services industry.

She lived life fully with dancing, entertaining friends and family, and traveling.

Jane is survived by her husband John Rich; stepson Arthur Rich; brothers David (Lisa) and Lars (Kay); sisters Sara Gothro and Mary Ebeling; and many nephews and nieces.

Jane’s Celebration of Life will be held in an open house style, 1-3 p.m., Sunday, March 16 at VNA Health, Serenity House, 930 Miramonte Drive, Santa Barbara.
