Each week the Northern Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table recognizes athletes of the week for area high schools.
Week Ending Sept. 28
- Jaxon Glover, Santa Ynez Valley Union High School football — Glover made 10 tackles, including nine for a loss; had three quarterback sacks, one hurry and caused one fumble in Santa Ynez’s 41-0 Homecoming win over Santa Maria on Sept. 26.
- Riley Roinestad, Righetti High School girls volleyball — Roinestad had 10 service aces and 31 assists in Righetti’s league wins against Orcutt Academy and Pioneer Valley.
