It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Jean Perotte, 96, of Goleta, on April 12, 2026.
Born Jan. 22, 1930 in Broadview, Saskatchewan, Canada, Jean lived a life devoted to family, faith and home. She met her beloved husband James in Calgary, Canada, in 1952. They married in 1954, beginning a life that included travel and many relocations across the United States and beyond.
Jean ultimately settled in Goleta, where she lived for more than 55 years, and found deep appreciation in the closeness of the mountains and the ocean.
Though she worked in several professions over the years, Jean cherished most her role as wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is lovingly remembered by her three children and their spouses, eight grandchildren and their spouses, and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were guided by her compassion, grace and steadfast love.
Jean found joy in family, travel, the ocean, music, reading, dogs, chocolate, and ice cream, and will be forever cherished for the enduring home she created for generations of her family.
