In a thrilling title match of the California Beach Volleyball Association Santa Barbara Barbara Men’s “AA,” the team of Daniel Wrage and Brock Hutchins, of Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo, respectively, outlasted the Santa Barbara duo of Anthony Medel and David Goss in three tight sets, 20-22, 21-18, 21-18, at the East Beach courts.

Wrage/Hutchins pulled through after a controversial play on match point for Medel/Goss led to a replay. Wrage and Hutchins won their “AAA” ratings on the beach.

The final of the Santa Barbara Women’s “A” was an all-local matchup. Jenna Suttmeier and Briana Gay defeated Morgan Peterson and Sarah McKinny.
