The Santa Maria Valley Chamber has appointed Jennifer Ayala as its marketing coordinator.

Ayala, who was born and raised in the Santa Maria Valley, will manage the Visitor’s Center, 614 S. Broadway; act as a spokesperson for tourism-related activities; and play a key role in developing, growing and serving visitor activity in Santa Maria Valley. 

She will serve as an initial point of contact for visitors, groups and planners to bring events to our community. Ayala will support the chamber-managed Visitor Bureau and Tourism Marketing District.

Ayala is a recent graduate of California State University, Fresno, where she earned a degree in mass communication and journalism. She has experience working with Fresno State’s Division of Continuing and Global Education.

“I am thrilled to step into the role of marketing coordinator at the Santa Maria Valley Chamber,” Ayala said. “This opportunity allows me to share the stories of our community and to connect with visitors in a meaningful way.
