Santa Ynez High girls basketball turned in a great performance on their way to a 65-40 victory over Templeton.

The Pirates got dominating performances from J’lyn Bradford and Helina Pecile, as they both collected double-doubles.

Bradford led the scoring attack with 25 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Pecile, meanwhile, was all over the place with 11 points, 12 rebounds, seven steals, four assists and three blocks on the night.

Following those performances were Rylan Again (9 points, 7 rebounds) and Kailani Ladera (7 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals).

“Everyone on the team played great tonight and we dominated the court,” Santa Ynez coach Jennifer Rasmussen said. “The girls are focusing on two main objectives each game and are working hard on their individual goals.”

The Pirates will take on Santa Maria on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
