Jonathan Allen Hall Lundahl, resident of Goleta and Santa Barbara, passed away on Jan. 22, 2026 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.

Jonathan was the first born son of Melvin, Oscar Lundahl and Valri Baker Lundahl on July 7, 1960, in Mexico City D.F., Mexico.
As well, Jonathan resided in Sydney, Australia, where he attended Scott’s College; Honolulu, Hawaii, where he attended Hawaii Preperatory Academy in Kamuela, Mid Pacific in Honolulu, and Hanahauoli School in Makiki, Honolulu; Lake Oswego, Oregon at Lakeridge High School; and Corvallis, Oregon at Oregon State University where he studied engineering.
Jonathan loved flight and sailing. He was a Laser 2 national champion and held a private pilot’s license; airplanes, and flight were a passion.
Jonathan was baptized Anglican at Christ Church in Mexico City.
Jonathan is survived by his sisters Margaret Lundahl Hammel of Goleta and Leinani Lundahl of Ashland, Oregon.
Jonathan was a lover of God, and country and of doing what he could for others of lesser means. Jonathan will be missed.
A service for Jonathan will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 16 at Saint Athanasius Antiochian Orthodox Church, in Santa Barbara. His burial will be at Goleta Cemetery following and memories and reception at St. Saint Athanasius Church patio.
