Lompoc Parks and Recreation will offer the Jr. Giants Summer Baseball Program free to children ages 5-13 years. The program is a non-competitive baseball league sponsored by the San Francisco’s Giants Community Fund.
Participants will learn about baseball and also leadership, teamwork, integrity and confidence.
This summer league, which begins mid-June, is hosted by the Lompoc Parks and Recreation Division, and includes a reading program with great incentives for all participants.
Volunteers are being sought for coaching in order for the program to be offered. Registration is available at http://gojrgiants.org.
