Santa Maria Police are investigating a crash in which a juvenile passenger suffered major injuries early Tuesday. 

At 5:30 a.m., officers and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the incident at East Donovan Road and Pepperwood Place, Lt. Paul Van Meel said.

A juvenile passenger with injuries was inside the vehicle, which had significant damage, Van Meel added. 

The juvenile was transported to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition, he added.

Officers have requested that anyone with information on this collision or a camera facing the intersection of Donovan and Pepperwood call Officer Dustin Rhoads at 805.928.3781 x 1355.
