Kathleen A. Halloran, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted elementary school teacher, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, inspiration, and boundless potential.

Known for her dedication to bringing out the best in every student and person she met, Kathleen made a profound, positive difference in the world.

Kathleen was a resident of Goleta/Santa Barbara from 1966 until 2023 when she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to be close to family.

Kathleen was an elementary school teacher at Brandon and Kellogg schools in the Goleta Union School District from 1967 until her retirement in 1997.

After her retirement she remained active in supporting teachers by donating her time and expertise to new and upcoming primary school teachers, helping them with curricula and activities. 

While her family and friends will deeply miss Kathleen’s presence, they take comfort in fond memories and the lasting gift of love she shared.

She encouraged all who knew her to share that kindness, ensuring her positive impact continues to ripple.

Kathleen fought her battle with incredible tenacity and grace, always focused on the goal ahead.

Though her earthly body finally reached its limit, her spirit has been freed to heaven, where she is welcomed in His arms with the words, “Well done, Kathleen — well done.”
