Sophomore Kawin Ramko demonstrated some impressive hitting for the Dos Pueblos boys volleyball team in a 25-6, 25-14, 25-15 sweep of Ventura in a Channel League match on Tuesday.
Ramko led the Chargers’ attack with eight kills and added three digs and a service ace.
“Kawin was flying high from all areas of the court tonight as he snapped balls to the floor,” said coach Ehren Hug. “He has been working hard in practice this season, playing multiple positions and just becoming a more well rounded volleyball player. We saw a lot of smart plays from him tonight and some great work from the service line too. Super stoked for his outing.”
Middle Matthew Wilcox had six kills and Nick Schultz-Clifford added five.
Dos Pueblos (6-2 in league and 15-6 overall) hosts Buena on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
