Santa Maria Elks Rodeo will again be offering Jr. Breakaway Roping to this year’s Rodeo event. Entries open Monday, March 17 and close Friday, April 25.

Jr. Breakaway Roping offers an opportunity for youth to participate in the annual rodeo in this new event that is spreading across the nation.

There will be money payouts and a champion buckle awarded to the winner in two age divisions: ages 12 and younger, and ages 13 through 17.
