Ken Knight was elected chairman of the Goleta Planning Commission by a vote of his fellow commissioners at Monday’s meeting. Knight, who is also president of the nonprofit Goleta Valley Beautiful, replaced Ed Easton, who completed his year-long appointment as the agency’s first chairman. Commissioner Brent Daniels was named vice chairman.
