The Knox School of Santa Barbara will host Minds at Play, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at its campus, 1525 Santa Barbara St. The family-oriented event is free to attend.

Minds at Play gives children a chance to explore, build, experiment and create through hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity, organizers said. Robots, chess, music, 3D printing, and magic will be featured.

Parents can meet teachers and current Knox families and see how the school’s approach to learning works in practice.

“Knox’s small classes and individualized instruction let teachers meet each student at their own level,” the school said.

The Knox School of Santa Barbara serves learners from kindergarten through eighth grade.
