She attended Washington School, La Cumbre Junior High School, and Santa Barbara High School, graduating in 1969.
During her high school years, Tina was a proud member of the Donettes and as a young girl she participated in Fiesta as a flower girl. She was also a member of the Santa Barbara chapter of Job’s Daughters.
Tina welcomed her first son Jonathan in 1973 and her second son Victor in 1981, both born in Santa Barbara. She later met the love of her life Paul Langile in Terra Bella, California, and together they made their home in Osceola, Iowa.
Tina was a wonderful cook who found great joy in caring for others through her meals. She also had a gift for crocheting beautiful blankets and creating handmade treasures for her family and friends.
She and Paul shared a love of travel and enjoyed many adventures together in their trailer.
Family was always at the center of Tina’s life. She cherished gathering everyone around the table for family dinners and celebrating life’s special occasions together.
Her loving family also included Paul’s children and grandchildren, whom she embraced as her own. Christmas held a special place in Tina’s heart, and throughout the year she delighted in searching for thoughtful gifts for her Santa Barbara family.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Ruth Kallman, and her brothers Kris and Cliffy Kallman.
She is survived by her beloved husband Paul Langile; sons Jonathan Grantham (Irene) and Victor Cortez (Tanya); two grandchildren Patricia and Ben; four great-grandchildren; sister Carol Kallman (Don Barthelmess); and seven nieces and nephews.
Tina will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, whether through a home-cooked meal, a thoughtful handmade gift, or simply by opening her home and her heart.
The memories she created with those she loved will be treasured always.
Though she will be deeply missed, Tina’s love, kindness, and the traditions she created will continue to live on in the lives of her family and friends. Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and the joy she found in bringing people together.
She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
