Laguna Blanca 8-man football kept rolling with a 50-6 win over Valley Oaks CES on Friday.
The Owls are now 4-0 on the season and have outscored opponents 192-56 for an average of 48 points scored per game.
Junior quarterback Luke Popovich has been at the helm of the offensive success, including five touchdown passes in Friday’s victory.
Fellow junior Kevin Castillo rushed for a pair of touchdowns, while sophomore Max Bunnin shined on the Laguna Blanca offensive line.
“Great win for the boys. I’m really happy for them, especially with the energy they came out with,” Laguna Blanca head coach Matt Escobar said. “Schematically, they executed well versus different looks and adapted as needed.”
The Owls will hit the road to take on Hillcrest Christian next Saturday.
