Laguna Blanca had seven different sports teams competing throughout the spring, and each team was composed of strong student-athletes from across campus.

Many of those student-athletes were rewarded for their individual campaigns with All-Tri-Valley League and All-Frontier League honors.

Boys Volleyball (TVL)

The Owls had strong student-athletes throughout their boys volleyball team, which placed third in the Tri-Valley League and won a CIF-SS Division 8 playoff match.

The junior pairing of outside hitter Soren Alldredge and setter Baylor Wilson played key roles in the team’s offensive success and each earned spots on the All-League First Team.

Meanwhile, senior outside hitter/middle blocker Teddy Wilson and junior libero Jamie Levinson were all over the court for the Owls on their way to All-League Second Team seasons.

The trio of Lawler Jackson, Luke Rice and Michael Couvillon rounded out the team’s standouts as All-League Honorable Mentions.

Boys Swim (TVL)

Laguna Blanca boys swim’s recent success in the pool continued this spring, as the four-person team put together plenty of All-Tri-Valley League performances.

The brotherly duo of senior Bennett Sullivan and sophomore Matthew Sullivan led the charge, as they each pulled in three All-League First Team honors and one All-League Second Team mark.

Junior Yikai Feng also had a strong individual campaign, with an All-League First Team, All-League Second Team and All-League Honorable Mention showing.

Sophomore Jake Wyatt was the final member of the Owls team and earned himself a spot on both the All-League First Team and Second Team this season.

Girls Swim (TVL)

Meanwhile, sophomore Siobhan Murphy was the lone representative for the Laguna Blanca girls swim team, earning an All-League First Team selection.

Girls Beach Volleyball (TVL)

The Owls had a strong season on the beach this spring, reaching the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs thanks in part to strong campaigns from a quartet of upperclassmen.

Senior Sage Holcombe, junior Lolayna Redmond, junior Charlie Carrington and junior Erin Slifirski were in the middle of the action and were rewarded as All-League Second Team members.

Boys Tennis (TVL)

The Laguna Blanca boys tennis team also had a solid season, earning a berth in the CIF-SS Division 5 playoffs after finishing third in the Tri-Valley League.

The doubles pairings of Sterling Fisher/Jayden Yanez and Enzo Vinoly/Shaia Bijan, along with singles standout Oliver Tande, were critical to that success and were named to the All-League Second Team.

Girls Track & Field (FL)

The Laguna Blanca track & field team is the lone sport competing in the Frontier League, with junior Tatiana Taylor earning a pair of All-League First Team nods.

Boys Golf (TVL)

On the course, the duo of junior Barrett McKnight and freshman Max Miller gave Owls’ fans plenty to look forward to next season with All-League Honorable Mentions.
