Laguna Blanca’s Kendall Keshen won one individual CIF-SS Division 4 championship and earning runner-up in another Saturday in Riverside — repeating her accomplishment from last year.
This year, the results were in reverse order: She won the 100 breaststroke title in a time of 1:09.26.
Keshen finished second in the 200 IM, recording a 2:13.73, finishing just off the pace set by Adelle Brush from St Monica Academy of La Crescenta.
Sophomore Rio Valle represented the Laguna Blanca boys team impressively as well, also advancing from Tuesday’s prelims to compete in the maximum two individual championship heats Saturday.
Rio finished 6th overall in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.83, and 9th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 101.90.
