Finn Walker had nine kills and Freddie Russell eight to lead Laguna Blanca to a 25-7, 25-9, 25-12 season-finishing sweep over visiting Ventura on Friday.
Walker added an ace and Russell two, and Jack Shieber dished out 25 assists and added three aces.
“Everyone got a chance to play tonight as we celebrated our two seniors, Finn Walker and Devin Hernandez,” Owls coach Jason Donnelly said. “It was great to see all the guys play hard in our final regular season home match.”
The Owls will learn on Saturday who they play to open the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs.
