Jayla Provance of Laguna Blanca was the only local golfer to advance at the CIF-SS Girls Golf Individual Championships on Wednesday at the Los Robles Greens Golf Course in Thousand Oaks.
Provance shot a 4-over par 74 to finish in the top 36 out of 132 players at the Northern Regional Tournament.
The top 36 qualified for the CIF-SS Individual Championships and SCGA Qualifying Tournament on Nov. 4 at Oxnard’s River Ridge Vineyard Course.
Abby Kim of Laguna Blanca shot a 79 and missed the cut by four strokes.
Also competing in the regional were Chelsi Ramirez (94), Sagarika Manion (96) and Victoria Chen (97) of Channel League-champion Dos Pueblos and Halee Sager of Lompoc (97).
