Leo Metzger of San Marcos is the Channel League individual champion after shooting a 76 Tuesday at Black Lake Golf Resort in Nipomo for a 36-hole total of 146.
The sophomore also heads a pack of five CIF regional qualifiers. Michael Gentry and Ruben Mendoza, both juniors at Dos Pueblos, both carded a 151 for 36 holes, with Gentry taking second place due to a card-off.
Also qualifying for CIF were Santa Barbara sophomore Hudson Hatton and San Marcos freshman Jeffrey Forster, both shooting 152. Hatton took fourth place in a card-off.
Co-medalists for the day Tuesday were Hatton and Santa Ynez senior Callaway Winans, both with 75. Metzger was Monday’s medalist, with a 70.
Along with league MVP Metzger, Gentry, Mendoza, Hatton, Forster and Winans were First Team All-League.
