San Marcos’ Leo Metzger shot an even-par 70 at the Santa Barbara Golf Club to take medallist honors in a 383-402 victory over Santa Barbara in a Channel League match on Wednesday.
Three other Royals shot in the 70s: Shams Jahangir-Arshad and Jeffrey Forster with 72
and Brody Ricci with 79.
Thomas MacIntosh led Santa Barbara with a 74, and Hudson Hatton shot 77.
San Marcos is now 4-0 in Channel League play and 8-0 overall.
