Liam Keithley threw 5.2 hitless innings for the Santa Barbara High baseball team in a 7-0 win over Mountain View High of Bend, Ore. in an opening round game at the Coach Bob Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz., on Monday.

Keithley struck out nine and walked one to pick up the victory.

Kike Ramirez struck out three, walked one and gave up a hit in two innings of relief. Adrianno Martinez retired one batter on one pitch to finish the game.

Michael Firestone led the Santa Barbara offense with a double and a single and four RBIs.

Kai Mault had two singles and scored two runs, Zane Lee-Paulick singled and scored twice, Dane Dawson scored twice, singled and stole a base.

Zeke Adderley had a triple and stole a base, Jetner Welch and Eric Anthony each stole two bases and Anthony scored a run.
