SYV Fruit & Vegetable Rescue, aka Veggie Rescue

Veggie Rescue fights hunger and food waste by collecting surplus produce from 55 farms, markets, and stores and delivering it within 24 hours to 69 nonprofits. With Santa Barbara County ranked number one in poverty, and recent SNAP cuts and Foodbank budget reductions worsening food insecurity, our work is more vital than ever as we scale up the amount of healthy food we rescue and provide.
