Books & Bubbles in the Park, the Charlotte’s Web Bookmobile children’s bilingual story time, invites youngsters and their caregivers to a reading with local author Tayler Smith, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Ryon Memorial Park, 800 W. Ocean Ave., Lompoc.

Smith will be reading her new children’s book “My Best Friend, Bailey.” Smith will also talk about jobs dogs do, dog etiquette, and understanding dog body language.

Smith owns the business Tayler Made Training for dogs in Lompoc, and is a radio host for Lompoc station 103.7 FM.
