The Santa Barbara area high school basketball talent was on full display this season, with four boys and six girls teams reaching the CIF-SS playoffs.
Here are the playoff divisions and first-round matchups for each of the local squads continuing their seasons next week.
Boys Basketball
Santa Barbara High
The Dons completed the three-peat of the Channel League with another league championship this season, going 19-8 in the regular season along the way. They were slotted into the CIF-SS Div. 1 playoffs as a result.
Santa Barbara High will have a tough test out of the gate, hitting the road to take on the Crestview League champion and top-seeded Crean Lutheran (21-7) on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m.
San Marcos
The Royals finished as Channel League runner-ups to Santa Barbara High, putting together an overall record of 22-6 to earn a spot in the CIF-SS Div. 2 playoffs.
San Marcos will open its playoff run at home on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. as it rolls out the welcome mats for Calabasas, who went 18-10 and placed second in the Marmonte League.
Bishop Diego
The Cardinals rolled through their regular season campaign, finishing with a dominant 20-4 record and a Tri-Valley League title. They will begin their quest for a CIF-SS Div. 5 title next week.
Bishop Diego will play host to Rancho Mirage inside the Brick House on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. Rancho Mirage went 18-9 in the regular season and took second in the Desert Empire League.
Providence
The Patriots captured the Condor League championship this season and totaled a record of 7-9, earning a spot in the CIF-SS Div. 9 playoffs.
Providence will take on NOVA Academy Early College (6-10, 5th in San Joaquin League) at home for its first playoff matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
Girls Basketball
Dos Pueblos
The Chargers were the top local Channel League team this season, finishing in second place in the league and earning a record of 17-11. They were slotted into the CIF-SS Div. 2 bracket.
Dos Pueblos will hit the road and face off against Los Alamitos in its first-round game on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. Los Alamitos won the Sunset League championship with an overall record of 20-7 this season.
San Marcos
The Royals, who went 16-8 and placed third in the Channel League, were neck-and-neck with Dos Pueblos this season and joined them in the CIF-SS Div. 2 playoffs for the postseason.
San Marcos will also be on the road to begin the playoffs, taking on San Clemente (15-12, 2nd in South Coast League) on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m.
Bishop Diego
The Cardinals excelled all throughout the regular season, finishing with an impressive 22-4 record and a second-place showing in the Tri-Valley League to clinch a spot in the CIF-SS Div. 5 playoffs.
The Brick House will be home to another first-round playoff game on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m., when Bishop Diego hosts Milken Community School (16-10, 2nd in Independence).
Carpinteria High
The Warriors were awarded the No. 1 overall seed in the CIF-SS Div. 6 playoffs after a 15-9 regular season that featured a third-place finish in the Citrus Coast League.
Carpinteria High is set to host San Gabriel Academy (5-12, 4th in San Joaquin League) in a first-round showdown on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.
Laguna Blanca
The Owls went 7-6 this season and earned an at-large bid out of the Frontier League into the CIF-SS Div. 8 playoffs.
Laguna Blanca will begin its playoff run on its home court with a matchup against Yucca Valley (11-11, At-Large in Desert Valley League) on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.
Cate
The Rams were named the No. 3 seed in the CIF-SS Div. 9 bracket thanks to a regular season that featured an overall record of 8-6 and a second-place Frontier League finish.
As a result, Cate will play host to La Sierra on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. La Sierra finished third in the River Valley League with a record of 14-11.
