Throughout the year, a group of residents at Covenant Living at the Samarkand in Santa Barbara spend time knitting and crocheting items to help those in need.

The women recently completed their next batch of two dozen infant caps and blankets to donate to Cottage Hospital. The group also creates scarves and other items to give to local charities.

“The women, who have been donating to Cottage Hospital for the last several years, enjoy working on project to give back to the community,” Covenant Living said.
