The 2026 Semana Nautica season started with a bang with the Santa Barbara Masters Swim Meet last Saturday at the Los Baños Del Mar pool.

Over 100 swimmers from 10 different clubs competed in the opening event of the summer, with competitors ages 18 to 78 showcasing their talents.

Semana Nautica has been a Santa Barbara tradition since 1933, bringing together athletes of all ages and abilities to compete primarily in swimming events.

From the 4th of July 5K and trail run to a beach water polo tournament, Semana Nautica will be in full effect around town until late July.
