Dos Pueblos

Teddy Vigna ended the day with a one-under-par 71, which slotted him into a tie for third place individually.
Meanwhile, the duo of Laith Reynolds and Scott Nightingale each shot a three-over par 75 to finish tied for seventh place.
Coulter Jay’s four-over-par 76 was good for a tie for 13th place, while Colt Roberts and Orlando Ramirez-Gijon each shot a five-over-par 77 to tie for 16th and advance to day two.
“Despite the individual focus of the event, the team emphasized a collective goal: advancing as many players as possible to Day 2,” Dos Pueblos head coach Kevin Ahlers said. “With four players in the top 12 and two others within striking distance, Dos Pueblos is well-positioned for a strong finish.”

Andy Keenan led the way with a one-under-par 71 to finish tied with Vigna for third place, while Austin Downing shot an even-par 72 to tie for fourth.

With the victory over the Cougars, the Royals clinched the outright Channel League title.

“They played great when it mattered most and improved as golfers and as teammates throughout the season.”
