High school football will be back on the radio this season.
Longtime local broadcaster John Martony will kick off the season on KZSB AM 1290 with Friday’s Oxnard vs. Bishop Diego game from SBCC’s La Playa Stadium at 6:45 p.m. The game is also online at AM1290KZSB.com.
The game is the season opener for Bishop Diego, while Oxnard won its opener last week, 56-0 over Quartz Hill.
Martony also will be doing SBCC football games starting Saturday, Sept. 4. The Vaqueros play at Hancock College.
