The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Lompoc-Vandenberg Branch invites the community to take part in an Earth Day conversation with Meredith Hendricks, Land Trust of Santa Barbara County director, Monday, April 17.

The free AAUW meeting will open at 6:30 p.m. in the Lompoc Pubic Library’s Grossman Gallery. The Earth Day program starts at 7 p.m.

Hendricks will share knowledge from her extensive background in protecting and expanding public lands, and discuss some local challenges.

In 2022, the Lompoc-Vandenberg Branch of AAUW was recognized by AAUW nationally with its highest 5-star rating. The organization was nominated for the 2021 Lompoc Peace Prize for its work in the community.
