The Lompoc Police Department recently honored several department and community volunteers for their 2024 efforts and achievements at the second annual Evening of Honor.

The event highlighted the contributions of officers, members of dispatch, professional staff and others.

Chief Kevin Martin presented the awards, remarking on the significant impact that each recipient had in upholding the values of the Lompoc Police Department. Meritorious Service Awards were also presented to community volunteers.

The honorees are:
• Supervisor of the Year: Sergeant Henry Strong
• Officers of the Year: Officer Oscar Ramirez and Officer Daniel Molina
• Rookie of the Year: Officer Ramiro Espinoza
• Dispatcher of the Year: Police Dispatcher Marisa Cousins
• Professional Staff of the Year: Police Records Technician II Kamille Rouleau
• Jailer of the Year: Police Jailer Angel Garcia
• Chief’s Meritorious Service Award – The Police Foundation: Bill Stark, Frank Young, Don Pommerville, Blake Leiting, Barbara Leiting, Rod Pearce, Gary Church, Karen Church, Linda Mounts, and Mark Powell
• Chief’s Meritorious Service Award: Police Volunteer Warren Arnold
