Police officers and other emergency personnel responded Friday afternoon to a pair of gunshot victims in Lompoc.
Shortly after 1 p.m., Lompoc officers and firefighters were dispatched to incidents involving people with gunshot wounds, according to emergency dispatch reports.
One victim, with a gunshot wound to the head, reportedly was being airlifted by Santa Barbara County helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The second victim had a gunshot wound to the leg, and was being transported by ground ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.
The shooting victims reportedly were found on the 200 block of North L Street and the 200 block of North K Street.
Police officers were beginning to search between the two scenes, and it wasn’t clear if the two shooting victims were related to the same incident.
