The Lompoc Police Department congratulates several officers, professional staff, and volunteers who received awards during the 2023 Lompoc Police Department Awards Banquet.
The banquet, held at the Hilton Garden Inn, was dedicated to recognizing local officers, professional staff and volunteers for their dedication, service, and achievements in 2023.
This annual event is a testament to the hard work, professionalism, and commitment each of the recipients contributed to the LPD and the community.
LPD staff receiving awards were:
Sgt. Vincent Magallon- Supervisor of the Year
Officer Gabrial Molina- Officer of the Year
Officer Scott Gaddis- Life Saving Award
Officer Heather Smith- Rookie of the Year
Acting Dispatch Supervisor Jazmin Brown- Dispatcher of the Year
Jail Supervisor Joey Bailey- Jailer of the Year
Police Records technician Candace Justice- Staff of the Year
IT technician Jim Brown- Meritorious Service Award
Volunteer Tom Johnson- Meritorious Service Award
