The Lompoc Community Development Division, part of the Community Development Department, invites public comment on the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan.

The draft 2024-25 action plan discusses how the city will implement the consolidated plan during the fifth year, and includes a list of programs and projects that are recommended for funding with federal CDBG funds.

The draft FY 2024-25 action plan, including the funding recommendations, will be considered by Lompoc City Council at a public hearing June 18, when the council will make a final funding decision.

The final FY 2024-25 action plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The CDBG funds available for projects and programs for FY 2024-25 is $539,646.

The draft 2024-25 action plan will be available for a 30-day public review with a comment period, Monday, May 2o to Tuesday, June 18. The draft document will be available for review on the city’s website, atvAnderson Recreation Center, and at the Lompoc Public Library.

The public can attend the public hearing on the draft FY 2024-25 Action Plan, 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 18 in Lompoc City Hall Council Chambers, 
100 Civic Center Plaza.

Community members also can provide comment for the meeting, via email to s_haddon@ci.lompoc.ca.us not later than 4:45 p.m. Monday, June 17.

The meeting will also be broadcast on Comcast Channel 23 and on at KPEG 100.9 FM, with the livestream available at www.cityoflompoc.com on the Lompoc Media Center page.
