The city of Lompoc reminds utility customers that utility disconnections for nonpayment will resume in April.
Disconnections and utility bill delinquent fees were waived during the pandemic, but will return starting in April. However, utility bill payment assistance plans remain available.

The utility billing division noted that payments placed in the dropbox outside Lompoc City Hall or made online may take up to two business days to process.
Payments made via a third party, such as with a bank online, can take up to 10 business days for the city to process.
To prevent utility disconnection, customers who have past due amounts should pay in person at Lompoc City Hall during business hours at 100 Civic Center Plaza, or by phone at 805-736-1261 and follow the phone prompts to reach treasury.
If payment is being made via other methods, even online via the city of Lompoc payment portal, payment should be made at least two weeks before the deadline to allow for the payment to be received and processed. Early payment will prevent utility disconnection.
