The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Small Business Support lunch and learn, Wednesday, June 21 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1201 North H St. Check-in starts at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon.

The luncheon will be hosted in partnership with The Economic Development Collaborative and The Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The event is open to all community members, businesses and entrepreneurs.

The panel-style lunch and learn will cover the following topics: Local Business Challenges, E-commerce/Social Media Marketing, Expanding Your Business Client Base, Winning Government Contracts, and Access to Capital.

In partnership with the SBDC, the Economic Development Collaborative is a regional asset for economic vitality in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties, giving businesses, community partners and civic leaders the resources they need to succeed.

The EDC Small Business Development Center offers no-cost services in every business area. The EDC creates confident, connected and directed business owners, civic leaders, and community partners by providing tools to build pathways for economic development.

SBDC programs deliver professional, individualized business advising and technical assistance to existing small businesses and pre-venture entrepreneurs.

SBDC provides problem-solving assistance to help small businesses access capital, develop and exchange new technologies, and improve business planning, strategy, operations, financial management, personnel administration, marketing, export assistance, and sales.
