Our beautiful sister, mother, aunt and wife, Lorraine Dolores Villa Lewelling, a fighting spirit, transcended away to join her mother and father, Pack and Cecilia Villa, gracefully at Serenity House in Santa Barbara, on Feb. 22, 2022.

Lorraine was born in Santa Barbara on Feb. 18, 1956. She had just celebrated her 66th birthday. She attended local schools including Lincoln Elementary, Franklin Elementary, Santa Barbara Junior High and Santa Barbara High School.

Lorraine was employed at UCSB as a housekeeper for over 30 years. When she retired, she became a caregiver for various family members, including her mother, until her time of passing.

Lorraine’s tremendous love for family and toward all those who crossed her path, is felt by all of us. She had a heart of gold.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 32 years Tom Lewelling; children Elaine Fred, Emiliano and Tommy; siblings Jenny (Ramón) Fuentes, Josephine (Frank) Rojo, Susie Villa and Packie (Vicky) Villa; 12 grandchildren; and seven great grandkids.

Lorraine, we love you and will miss you. Thank you for loving us!

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
