Transition House Auxiliary hosted its 24th annual Mad Hatter Luncheon at the Ritz Carlton Bacara. With ticket sales, matching gifts, a silent auction and other donations, the 34 ladies of the auxiliary netted $175,000 to give to Transition House.
Funds raised will assist the auxiliary in augmenting supportive services and individualized programs that help Transition House clients progress to permanent housing and productive lives.

Hat wearers outdid themselves this year. Andrew Firestone broke the luncheon record with the paddle raise. Music was performed by the San Marcos Jazz Band.
Grand prizes included Perfect Pantry Provisions (gift cards from Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres, Gelson’s, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s); an overnight at the Ritz Carlton Bacara, and Dine Out Six Times (gift cards from Local, Lucky’s, The Lark, Loquita, Oku and Convivo).
