A man reportedly jumped to his death Sunday from the Cold Spring Canyon Arch Bridge on Highway 154 in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Santa Barbara County firefighters and other emergency personnel responded shortly after 11 a.m. to Stagecoach Road, below the bridge, where they found a 20-year-old man dead on the roadway, according to fire Capt. Scott Safechuck.

A short time earlier, the California Highway Patrol reportedly received a report of a man on the bridge, and responded to the scene.

Two motorcyclists provided traffic control on Stagecoach Road until first responders arrived, Safechuck said.

Additional information, including the man’s name, was not available.
