Manuel “Manny” Gregory Favela was born Oct. 23, 1963 to Manuel and Sue Favela in Santa Barbara.

After attending Santa Barbara High School Manny worked with a Class A, driving big trucks for local companies like Santa Barbara Sands, Marbourg, Yanaki Trucking, and later as a foreman for Touchstone Builders where he ended his career.

Manny had three sons Timothy, Manny Jr., Cameron (USMC, RIP), and his only daughter Nicole.

Manny’s family had grown with his lovely granddaughters Chloe Michelle Favela, Sadie Favela, and Riley Marie Favela.

The pastimes Manny enjoyed were muscle cars; barbecue, fishing at Goleta Pier and his gatos.

Manny will be missed by all his children; grandchildren; and his loved brothers and sisters Marcus Favela (Celia), Malisa Paz (Joaquin), Peter Favela (Sherri), Sara Martin (Greg). He was preceded in death by his brother Matthew Favela.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 25 at Goleta Cemetery. All are welcome to join after services when there will be a barbecue to celebrate Manny’s life; instructions following services.
